American scientists have compiled a list of the most dangerous for women's health cosmetic products. Employees Women's Hospital in Boston conducted a study involving 2350 women aged 20-80 years. It was found that the most harmful to women are tanning, nail polishes and hair sprays. Those who use them to actively and regularly are at risk for developing diabetes. All because of phthalates (mono-benzyl phthalate, and mono-isobutyl phthalate), contained in cosmetic products. These elevated levels in the body increases the likelihood of developing diabetes by 2 times. Speaking of mono-n-butyl phthalate, it can increase the risk of developing the disease by 70%, says The Daily Mail. Phthalates are found in many beauty-products, particularly in the tanning, varnishes, hair products, nail polish, shampoo, soap. These substances are similar in properties to the hormones. They violate the metabolism and, consequently, lead to the emergence of diabetes and obesity.
